Christmas Stories: Home Alone (Mark 1:1, Luke 1:1-4, John 1:1-5)

Matthew Hiatt, December 17, 2017
Part of the Christmas Movies series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Mark 1:1

1The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; (KJV)

Luke 1:1-4

1Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, 2Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; 3It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, 4That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed. (KJV)

John 1:1-5

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (KJV)
