Very few Christians read the Old Testament book of Leviticus. With its listings of ancient Israelite laws and descriptions of grotesque animal sacrifices, most people just can’t see the relevance.

This year, we’re focused on being a church after God’s own heart, holiness is one of the defining attributes of God. We all know that God is love, but love isn’t what the angels cried out and repeated over and over again in his presence. No, they fell down and worshiped his holiness!

In this series of lessons, we’ll work systematically through the book of Leviticus to appreciate God’s holiness more and recognize our desperate need to be holy.
