We have incredible history in some of our more…”experienced”…members at Burns, and we want to make sure their stories are heard. Charlie and Marcia are in the process of interviewing our seniors to capture some of their great stories and wisdom for our young people.

We rejoice with Will Shelburne on his baptism into Christ! Will was baptized on Thursday night, March 10th.
We also welcome Wade & Donna Owens to the family at Burns. The Owens came forward on Sunday, March 13th to be restored and be rejoined to the family here.
We had a great time together at our annual Sweetheart’s Banquet. We had a night full of great entertainment and we even have the pictures to prove it! (And no, we’re not always that country…)

We had a great time this weekend enjoying our fellowship meal at Montgomery Bell State Park. We had more than eighty folks join us for hot dogs, hamburgers, football, and more. The only casualty appeared to be a can of Pam cooking spray — so we did alright!
It’s good for the church to enjoy the company of one another, and a beautiful afternoon in the park is a great way to accomplish that goal. We even beat (most of) the rain home. Enjoy some blurry pictures and we’ll look forward to next year!

We like to honor our seniors with a little bit of fun from time to time.
This year, our Senior Saints took a quick trip to Nashville to enjoy a nice train ride with a little ol’ robbery on the way to Water Town. Enjoy the pictures!

The Amazing Race Camp at Camp Meribah in Centerville was a great success this year! Thanks to Tom and Carol Todd for organizing it, along with everyone from White Bluff, Chapel Hill, and Taylor Town who was involved.
